Good Future Limited is based in Auckland region and specializes in internal and external painting. With the increasing demand, we are looking for 3 individuals to join our friendly team.

Job title: Painter

Location: Auckland Region

Type: Full time permanent position

Vacancies: 3

Pay: $30-$35/hour

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week, maximum 40 hours a week.

Main Duties:

- Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for the painters

- Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, or other finishes to different structures, using brushes, spray guns, or rollers

- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint, washing walls etc

- Mixing or applying solvents, pastes or sealants

- Tape off areas and remove fixtures such as doorknobs and lamps

- Prepare the surrounding area for painting such by covering with cloth or plastic

- Move furniture and equipment as necessary to reach the entire surface of the project

- Clean up supplies and replace fixtures when project is complete

 

To be right for this role, you need to meet one of the below:

A qualification at NZQF Level 4 or above; OR

At least 24 months of relevant work experience
