Residential & Commercial Carpenters

About the role
Due to an increase in demand, we are looking for experienced Residential and commercial Carpenters to join our team in Christchurch. We have solid ongoing work available with various companies throughout the Canterbury area.

We have an exciting project starting in Charteris Bay, where we need 2 full time ongoing residential carpenters. Travel time from Christchurch to site will be paid.

As our commercial clients ramp up throughout Christchurch, we have a variety of ongoing projects that need full time commercial carpenters too.

What you'll be doing

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of projects
• Performing a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, siding, and finish work
• Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project completion
• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
• Providing high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service to clients

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Carpenter, with a solid understanding of building codes and construction methods
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address challenges that arise on the job
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople and clients
• A valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all relevant health and safety regulations
