The Role: 
We are working with some good civil companies that require labourers and class 2, class 4 drivers/ WTR operators for ongoing projects in Christchurch and surrounding areas.

The companies have secure forward workload of varied civil, earth moving and landscaping projects.
 
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 07:00am to 5:00pm.

Starting pay will be $26.00 to $36.00 per hour, depending on your experience and skills.  

What we're looking for: 

  • Minimum 6 months experience as a Labourer, Plant Operator and/or Class 2/ Class 4 Truck Driver in the civil construction industry
  • Relevant qualifications and licenses, including a current Class 2/ Class 4 Driver's Licence & WTRs endorsements
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and site workers from other trades
  • Always reliable and punctual
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and take pride in your work
  • Ready to hit the ground running and get amongst it
  • Ensuring all workplace health and safety and environmental practices are adhered to at all times
  • A background in civil construction, drainage or bulk earthworks is preferred but not essential
