New Face Skincare Limited based in Albany, Auckland is specialised in providing personalised beauty treatments that cater to your unique needs and desired outcomes. We require two passionate and fast-paced beauticians to join our awesome team. 

You will be expected to work at our Albany store, a minimum of 30 hours per week, and you may also be required to perform at the weekend and evening as well. Please note this is a permanent full-time role and the hourly pay rate would be $25-$32 based on the candidates' experience and skills.

Job Description for This Position

  • Conduct detailed client consultations and professional skin assessments to analyse skin conditions, identify concerns, and determine the suitability of laser and advanced aesthetic treatments.

  • Perform advanced skin treatments including laser therapy, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) procedures, chemical peels, and advanced facial treatments to address concerns such as acne, pigmentation, ageing, and sensitive skin.

  • Operate and maintain medical-grade aesthetic devices and laser equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions and clinic safety protocols.

  • Develop and implement customised treatment plans tailored to individual client skin conditions and treatment goals.

  • Provide pre-treatment consultations and post-treatment care instructions to ensure client safety, optimal recovery, and effective treatment outcomes.

  • Recommend appropriate medical-grade skincare products based on skin analysis results and treatment plans to support ongoing skin health.

  • Monitor and evaluate treatment progress to ensure optimal results and maintain high professional standards of aesthetic practice.

  • Maintain accurate client consultation records, treatment documentation, and appointment schedules in accordance with clinic policies.

  • Receive client enquiries, manage bookings, and arrange appointments to ensure efficient clinic operations.

  • Ensure treatment rooms, tools, and equipment are properly sanitised, maintained, and compliant with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

  • Work collaboratively with other clinical staff to deliver integrated and effective aesthetic and skincare solutions.

  • Ensure all treatments are performed in accordance with professional aesthetic practice guidelines and clinic protocols.

Key Requirements for Successful Applicant

  • At least two years of relevant experience, or a relevant certificate at level 4 or above.

  • Fluency in Mandarin is strongly preferred, as a large portion of our client base is Chinese-speaking. The ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin will be considered a significant advantage.

  • Ability to work unsupervised and use your initiative.

  • Be focused on growing your clientele.

  • Be reliable and responsible.

  • Good customer service behavior and experience.
