We are Auckland based company operating as an Importer, Wholesaler and Retalier since 2009. We are looking for a passionate and skilled Retail Manager to join our team.
Ideal candidates must have the following:
- 2 years relevant experience as Retail Manager or a similar position.

Must be flexible to work on weekends and holidays on a roster basis.
- Strong Commitment to excellent Customer service and Team management.
Key Responsibilities but not limited.
- Oversee daily operations of the store, ensuring consistent service standards, presentation, and performance.
- Lead sales activity by setting targets, monitoring results, and coaching staff to achieve strong customer conversion and repeat business.
- Manage product range, stock levels, replenishment, and merchandising to maximise sales and minimise shrinkage.
- Ensure high-quality visual merchandising, including clean, attractive displays, tester presentation, and promotional set-ups.
- Maintain accurate records for stock movement, sales performance, discounts, refunds/exchanges, and daily reconciliations.
- Monitor store budgets, margins, and operational costs, and implement actions to support profitability.
- Support to recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff across both stores, including roster planning and performance management.
- Provide expert customer guidance on speciality food products, notes, layering, longevity, and suitable recommendations based on preferences.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly to protect brand reputation and customer loyalty.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, including safe storage/handling of food products as per MPI guidelines and maintaining tidy work areas.
- Implement loss prevention procedures and ensure secure handling of high-value stock and cash.
- Support local marketing initiatives and contribute to building the brand presence in communities.
- Ensure all Ministry of Preliminary Industries (MPI) and NZ Food Safety compliance are met and manage all the issues with respective govt agencies.

- Good computer skills with MS Excel proficiency and other office apps.
- Valid Driver license
- Resolute and Willing to work with quick learning skills.
- Be fit and willing to learn.
- Must have minimum two years experience.
- Fulltime - Minimum 30 hours per week. and Maximum 40 hours per week.
We offer salary at the current market rate as per the experience. We are based at 3 - 875 Dominion Road, Balmoral, Auckland, New Zealand
