Carpenters Wanted – Auckland Residential Building Company

We are an Auckland-based residential construction company looking to hire carpenters for full-time roles. Ideal candidates will have 1+ years of experience working on residential projects, from pre-nail framing through to finishing work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints to determine materials required and plan the sequence of work

  • Select appropriate timber and materials based on project specifications

  • Measure, cut, shape, and smooth timber and other construction materials

  • Erect pre-nail frames and trusses

  • Install windows, doors, architraves, and skirtings

  • Perform mid-floor construction and install a variety of cladding systems

  • Carry out minor renovation work (e.g. bathroom rebuilds, deck construction)

  • Complete daily tasks as directed by the Project Manager

  • Work collaboratively to maintain a safe and productive job site

Requirements:

  • Experience in group housing builds

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Preferably have own PPE, vehicle, and tools (e.g. framing gun, drill set, skill saws, levels)

Job Details:

  • Full-time, hourly paid

  • Guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week

  • Typical hours: Monday–Saturday, 7:30am–5:30pm (occasional Sunday call-outs)
