Car parts assistant

Active 4x4 dismantlers is on the hunt for a proactive, driven, and organized Parts Department Assistant to join our small but fast-paced team.

We are one of the Auckland trusted auto dismantlers, and we need a parts-selling superstar who knows how to move stock and get results.

🔧 About the Role

This is not just a “sit behind the desk” job.

You will be:

Listing vehicle parts daily on Trade Me, Facebook Marketplace, and other selling platforms

Using systems such as Ezi Parts confidently and efficiently

Responding to online enquiries quickly and professionally

Identifying valuable parts from incoming vehicles and getting them listed fast

Keeping track of stock and updating listings proactively

Working closely with our yard team to ensure smooth parts removal and dispatch

This role suits someone who is hungry to sell, organized, and comfortable working in a busy small business environment.

💻 What You Must Have

Strong computer skills

Experience using online selling platforms (Trade Me & Facebook is essential)

Confidence learning and using systems like Ezi Parts

Excellent written communication

A proactive mindset – you don’t wait to be told what to list

Ability to multitask and stay organized

Bonus if you:

Have automotive knowledge

Have worked in parts or dismantling before

Understand vehicle makes/models and part identification
