Mechanic / Dismantler Wanted

Active 4x4 dismantlers is a busy automotive dismantling and parts business looking for a reliable, keen and motivated Mechanic to join our team.

About the role:

Full-time position

Removing mechanical parts from vehicles (engines, gearboxes, suspension, etc.)

Inspecting and testing parts to make sure they are in good working order

Cleaning and preparing parts so they are ready for sale to customers

Accurately labelling and helping to store parts

Servicing and maintaining our own vehicle fleet

Assisting with general workshop duties as required

Monday–Friday (with some overtime by arrangement)

What we’re looking for:

Mechanical background (qualified mechanic or strong hands-on experience)

Confident using tools and safely dismantling vehicles

Able to carry out servicing and basic repairs on a vehicle fleet

Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions

Keen, motivated attitude and willingness to learn

Able to work both unsupervised and as part of a team

Good attention to detail and pride in your work

Current NZ driver licence
