We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Trade Lane Manager to oversee the performance and development of key international freight trade lanes. The role involves managing logistics operations, coordinating with overseas agents and carriers, and ensuring efficient supply chain and freight distribution services for clients.

Planning, directing, and coordinating the storage and distribution of imported and exported goods.

Managing and monitoring the performance of specific international trade lanes to ensure efficient freight movement and service delivery.

Developing logistics strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, transit times, and service reliability.

Liaising with international freight partners, shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents to coordinate freight operations and service agreements.

Negotiating freight rates, service terms, and contracts with transport providers and logistics partners.

Monitoring freight volumes, operational costs, and service performance to ensure efficient distribution operations.

Coordinating with internal departments including customs clearance, operations, and customer service teams to ensure smooth freight handling.

Analysing logistics data and preparing reports on trade lane performance, costs, and operational improvements.

Identifying new business opportunities and improving existing logistics services within assigned trade lanes.

Ensuring compliance with company policies, international trade regulations, and transport industry standards.
Skills and Experience Required
Applicants must have one of the following:

A relevant qualification; OR

At least 2 years of relevant work experience
