BAHAD ENTERPRISES LIMITED in the Waikato region is seeking a skilled Area Manager to oversee daily courier operations, ensure efficiency, and manage teams with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities of the role:
· Oversee and manage daily courier operations to ensure timely, efficient, and reliable deliveries.
· Plan and optimise delivery routes and schedules to maximise efficiency and meet customer expectations.
· Recruit, train, and supervise delivery drivers and support staff, maintaining high service standards.
· Ensure fleet maintenance and compliance with all road safety and transport regulations.
· Manage operational costs, including budgets, fuel usage, and other expenses, to support profitability.
· Address delivery issues, customer concerns, and operational delays promptly and professionally.
· Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track service quality and performance.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and external partners.
· Utilise logistics and transport management systems for route planning, tracking, and reporting.
· Prepare operational and performance reports for management review.
· Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and transport industry regulations.
· Carry out other duties as required to support efficient and effective transport operations.
You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with an hourly pay rate ranging from $30 to $40, depending on experience and suitability for the role.
Requirements for the role:
· Minimum of 2 years industry experience or at least a relevant Level-6 qualification.
· Flexible to work on weekends when required.
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with people.
· Excellent coordination and time management abilities
· High level of attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment
