An excellent 6-month contract opportunity is available for a qualified Management Accountant with strong data analysis skills to support a busy team within the health sector, based in Ellerslie.
This role combines management accounting, procurement insight, and advanced data analysis to provide visibility of ICT and contract-related spend across a large organisation. You’ll work closely with finance teams and category leads to extract, analyse, and interpret complex financial data from multiple systems to support better decision-making and forward planning.
A key focus of the role will be extracting and analysing enterprise spend data using Qlik (or similar BI tools) to identify misallocated spend, shadow ICT/SaaS systems, and procurement leakage across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities

Extract and analyse enterprise spend data using Qlik or similar analytics tools

Establish ICT cost pools by working with finance teams to extract supplier budget data

Analyse financial datasets to identify unmanaged or misallocated ICT and SaaS spend

Use supplier classifications and spend segmentation to identify potential shadow spend

Assist with decomposing capital plans to identify supplier expenditure

Align departmental budgets with the contract management system

Develop leakage and spend visibility reporting across ICT and digital procurement

Support contract renewal analysis and forward financial projections

Work with Category Leads to forecast upcoming deals and potential savings

Prepare and structure data for contract segmentation, reporting, and system uploads
About You

Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent) with management accounting experience, or working towards this

Strong data extraction and analysis skills, ideally using Qlik or similar BI/reporting tools

Experience working with large or complex financial datasets across multiple systems

Ability to analyse disparate data sources and convert them into meaningful insights

Experience with spend analytics, reporting, or data migration projects highly regarded

Familiarity with Oracle Financials and Contract Management Systems is advantageous

Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to present findings clearly
