We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Test Manager to lead enterprise-level software quality assurance and testing initiatives. This senior leadership role is responsible for defining and implementing organisation-wide testing strategies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital products, and managing QA teams across multiple projects.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening quality governance, introducing modern testing practices including AI-assisted testing and automation, and ensuring all software solutions meet performance, security, and reliability standards.


Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Planning

  • Define and implement the overall QA and testing strategy aligned with organisational and product delivery objectives.

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, quality standards, and testing frameworks across multiple projects and platforms.

  • Identify testing scope, required resources, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure adoption of modern testing practices including AI-assisted testing, automation, and continuous testing methodologies.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage QA managers, test leads, automation engineers, and manual testers.

  • Build and develop high-performing QA teams with strong technical and domain expertise.

  • Conduct performance reviews, training programs, and capability development initiatives.

  • Promote a quality-first culture across development, product, and delivery teams.

  • Oversee test case design, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting processes.

  • Ensure appropriate coverage of functional, integration, regression, system, performance, and UAT testing.

  • Monitor testing progress and ensure delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards.

  • Define and implement test automation strategies across applications, systems, and platforms.

  • Introduce AI-powered testing tools for intelligent test generation, defect prediction, and test optimisation.

  • Leverage machine learning and analytics to improve test coverage, test data generation, and regression test selection.

  • Evaluate and implement AI-based visual testing, self-healing scripts, and predictive quality analytics.

  • Continuously improve QA processes, testing methodologies, and delivery efficiency.

  • Integrate testing with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to enable continuous delivery.

  • Implement AI-enabled quality analytics and reporting frameworks to support data-driven decisions.

  • Establish and monitor quality KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, security protocols, and internal quality policies.

  • Conduct quality audits, process reviews, and testing maturity assessments.

  • Work closely with product managers  to ensure quality objectives are met.

  • Communicate quality status, risks, and mitigation strategies to executive leadership.

  • Participate in release planning and go/no-go decisions.

  • Implement effective defect lifecycle management and root cause analysis processes.

  • Identify high-risk areas early using analytics and AI-driven insights.

  • Drive continuous improvement through defect trend analysis and quality metrics.

Release & Delivery Support

  • Ensure product releases meet defined quality benchmarks and acceptance criteria.

  • Support production readiness, release validation, and post-deployment quality checks.

  • Maintain proper test documentation, traceability, and compliance records.

Tools & Technology Management

  • Manage QA tools for test management, automation, performance testing, and defect tracking.

  • Evaluate and adopt emerging AI-powered testing tools and platforms.

  • Ensure integration of QA tools with DevOps ecosystems and CI/CD pipelines.


Skills and Experience Required

  • A relevant qualification, Or,

  • Relevant work experience of minimum 2 years

  • Knowledge of AI-driven testing tools and intelligent automation technologies is preferred

  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
