Due to the increasing number of projects. We are looking for several skilled formwork carpenters to join us. This is full-time with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Tasks include:

  • Interpret and read construction drawings, plans and specifications to determine the layout, dimensions, and levels of foundations.

  • Measure, mark out and set up positions for footings, slabs, and foundation walls using measuring tapes, laser levels, and string lines.

  • Construct, assemble and install timber or plywood formwork for concrete foundations according to project requirements.

  • Cut, shape and fit timber and other materials accurately to ensure the formwork meets design specifications.

  • Install braces, supports, and reinforcing elements to maintain formwork stability and alignment before concrete pouring.

  • Inspect and adjust formwork to ensure correct dimensions, levels, and structural integrity.

  • Dismantle formwork safely after concrete has set and clean or store materials for reuse.

  • Collaborate with concrete workers, laborers, and other site personnel to ensure smooth foundation construction and adherence to safety standards.

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.

Job pre-requisites: 

  • Proven 2 years’ relevant working experience or more (experience gained in the same industry will be considered as meeting the experience requirements)

  • Relevant qualifications are preferable but not a must

  • Attention to details and a hard-working attitude.

  • physically capable of performing heavy work be able to work overtime 

  • excellent work ethics and great time management passion for the industry.

  • The successful candidate must not have any criminal convictions

  • Valid drive license

Job Salary: $28.00 - $31.00

Working location: Auckland

Working hours per week: 30 - 50
