CARP Investments Limited t/a Forest Construction is a growing construction and renovation company delivering residential and commercial projects across Auckland. Our services span carpentry, foundations, landscaping, and full project delivery.

As we scale, we are investing in digital transformation to improve project delivery efficiency, financial visibility, and client experience. We are seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager to lead the implementation and integration of business-critical systems across the organisation.

This is a strategic and hands-on ICT Project Manager role responsible for planning, executing, and delivering end-to-end IT transformation projects across the business. You will work closely with senior management, project managers, and site teams to implement systems that support construction project delivery, financial management, and operational efficiency. This is a permanent full time position and you will be required to work at least 40 hours per week,

 

Key Responsibilities

1. ICT Project Planning & Delivery

  • Lead the full lifecycle of ICT projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation review
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
  • Ensure delivery of multiple concurrent ICT initiatives aligned with business growth

2. Business Systems Implementation

  • Oversee selection and implementation of core business systems, including:
  • Construction/project management platforms
  • CRM and quoting systems
  • Accounting and job costing systems
  • Document management and cloud collaboration tools
  • Configure systems to align with construction workflows and operational requirements

3. Systems Integration & Process Optimisation

  • Design and implement integration between systems (e.g., CRM  quoting project accounting)
  • Eliminate manual processes and duplicate data entry
  • Improve real-time visibility of project performance, costs, and resource utilisation

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (directors, project managers, site supervisors) to gather requirements
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Manage external vendors, software providers, and consultants

5. Risk & Quality Management

  • Identify and manage ICT project risks, including data integrity, system adoption, and delivery delays
  • Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and operational requirements
  • Monitor project performance against KPIs, timelines, and budgets

6. Change Management & Training

  • Lead organisational change initiatives associated with new system implementation
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops for staff
  • Drive user adoption across office and site-based teams

7. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks for:
  1. Project profitability
  2. Operational efficiency
  3. Sales pipeline and forecasting
  4. Continuously evaluate and improve ICT systems and processes

 

About You

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field AND
  • At least 10 years’ relevant experience in ICT field
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end system implementation projects
  • Experience working with ERP, CRM, or project management systems
  • Exposure to construction, engineering, or project-based industries is highly desirable
