Whether you’re looking for work/life balance, or want to spend your day making a difference in a child’s life, you’ll play a unique role in supporting our Kaiako to provide loving care and education for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.

This role involves assisting teachers with daily routines, engaging with children in play and learning experiences, and helping to maintain a clean and safe environment. Cleaning duties are part of the role, and applicants should be physically active and comfortable working in a busy early childhood setting.

Our ideal applicant:

  • Reliable and available, often at short notice

  • Flexibility to work at multiple centres

  • Able to work between 2 to 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday and during school holidays

  • Committed to building strong relationships with children and whānau

  • Enthusiastic about creating fun-filled days for tamariki

  • Versatile and flexible to work across all age groups

  • Warm, caring nature

  • Willing to take care of some cooking tasks as required

  • Confident communicator in English

  • NZ residency or NZ work visa is a pre-requisite

  • All potential employees are police vet checked
