TERRASPAN LIMITED is an Auckland-based construction company specialising in residential housing and small commercial building projects. We are seeking a reliable and practical Drainlayer to support our growing workload.

This role involves working mainly on drainage systems, with some general plumbing support across construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain drainage and stormwater systems on residential and small commercial sites

  • Lay pipes, excavate trenches, and connect drainage systems

  • Assist with installation of basic plumbing systems including water supply and fittings

  • Read simple plans and follow site instructions

  • Carry out routine maintenance and minor repair work

  • Ensure all work meets safety and site requirements

  • Work alongside builders and other trades on-site

Skills and Experience Required

  • At least 2 years of relevant drainage, plumbing, or construction experience, or a relevant qualification

  • Experience working on residential or small commercial drainage systems

  • Ability to work under supervision or as part of a team

  • Physically fit and capable of manual work

  • Drainlaying registration or ability to work under supervision of a licensed drainlayer is an advantage

  • Reliable, with a strong focus on safety
