Truck Driver

Key Responsibilities: 
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. 
• Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel receipts. 
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route, designations,parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. 
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions. 
• Collect and verify delivery instructions and any paperwork. 
• Report defects, accidents, or traffic violations. 
• Servicing, lubricating, cleaning, and refueling the plant and performing minor adjustments and repairs. 
• Follow all SOP policies that you signed off at your induction. 
• Check ROC, COF and registration weekly. 
• Be able to drive a Class 4 or Class 5 truck as required.
•  Set up traffic management around your site at all times. Safety barriers and safety cones will be carried on your truck at all times

Qualifications:
 Must hold a valid Class 4 and Class 5 driver's license or equivalent overseas license.
 Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
 Ability to handle physical tasks, including loading and unloading items.
 Good communication skills.

 Familiarity with navigation tools and GPS devices.
 Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
