Fruit Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily orchard operations across seven kiwifruit sites.
Monitor vine health, irrigation, pest/disease pressures, and crop load.
Plan and deliver seasonal orchard activities: pruning, thinning, canopywork, vine training.
Allocate tasks and supervise orchard workers and seasonal crews.
Conduct quality checks to ensure fruit meets production standards.
Train staff in kiwifruit horticultural techniques and safe work practices.
Ensure compliance with orchard health & safety requirements across allsites.
Oversee safe use of orchard machinery, ATVs, and tools.
Maintain orchard documentation, daily task records, and productivityreports.
Liaise with management regarding progress, staffi ng, weather impacts, andresource needs.
