Forklift Operator

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for our cold storage environment at our Pareora plant in Timaru, Canterbury. 

We are seeking candidates to work for our plants in

• Finegand, Otago
• Pareora, Canterbury

Job requirements:

•  A team player who can work closely with others.
•  Must have three years of relevant work experience as a forklift operator 
•  Be eligible to work in New Zealand

Working arrangements:

• Earn a minimum of $864.60 to $903.90 gross per week.
• Minimum 30 hours per week
• Shift times vary from 5.50am to 3.30pm and 2.50pm to 12.00am depending on site location
• We pay a minimum of $28.82 hourly and maximum of $30.13 hourly
  
  

Job Duties:

Duties and tasks including but not limited to the following

• Transporting and stacking racks, frames, pallets and containers throughout cold stores
•          Removing frames once empty
•          Forklift pre-op and general maintenance
•          Operating a strapping machine
•          Inspecting export product for quality control to meet customer standards
•          Pallet wrapping
•          Transporting chilled consolidation
•          Rotating racks and racking frames of finalised frozen meat product
•          Consolidating contracts
•          Assisting in loading transport vessels as required
