BC BOUTIQUE LIMITED is seeking a reliable and experienced Class 4 Truck Driver to join our growing team in Auckland. This role involves transporting materials, loading and unloading goods, and supporting civil and construction operations across various worksites.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong driving skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Role reports to the Operations Manager
What we're looking for
Duties shall be, but not be limited to
· Operate Class 4 heavy vehicles to transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies safely across various worksites in the Auckland region
Manoeuvre vehicles into position for safe and efficient loading and unloading in accordance with site and traffic conditions
· Load and unload materials such as soil, aggregates, and construction supplies using appropriate lifting and tipping equipment
· Ensure loads are accurately estimated, evenly distributed, securely restrained, and covered to comply with legal load limits and prevent loss or damage
· Conduct pre-start and routine vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards
· Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and transport documentation, including verifying load details and obtaining proof of delivery
· Inspect goods for condition and completeness before and after transport, reporting any discrepancies or damage
· Follow designated routes and delivery schedules while coordinating with supervisors and site teams to meet operational requirements
· Adhere strictly to all health and safety policies, including safe loading practices and use of appropriate protective equipment
· Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle, and promptly report mechanical faults or maintenance issues
· Assist with general site duties and labouring tasks as required to support project operations
What we're looking for
· Valid New Zealand Class 4 Driver Licence
· Minimum 1 years of relevant driving experience (civil/construction experience preferred)
· Good understanding of road safety regulations and compliance requirements
· Ability to secure loads and operate vehicles safely
· Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks
· Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
· Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Pay & Benefits
- Minimum Pay $35 – $36 per hours (depending on skills and experience).
- Guaranteed 32 hours per week.
