We are looking for TWO – Delivery Drivers Class - I, for our business RAJA SAHIB TRANSPORT LIMITED, located in Auckland. This is a Permanent full-time position for a minimum of 30 hours a week and it can be increased based on the workload. The pay rate ranges from $26.00/- to $28.00, an hour & can be negotiated for the right candidate. 

Job Duties are as follows: 

  • Pick up a wide variety of materials/goods from suppliers and deliver ahead.
  • Deliver a wide range of goods to ongoing sites and client’s address in Auckland.
  • Able to travel to Different routes as allocated.
  • Follow routes and time schedule.
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery heavy vehicle.
  • Ask for feedback on services provided and resolve issues.
  • Complete logbooks and reports (If required)
  • Follow the instructions provided by the management.
  • Follow Health and Safety regulations and safety standards designed by RAJA SAHIB TRANSPORT LIMITED
  • Maneuvering vehicles into position for loading and unloading.
  • Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely.
  • Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight.
  • Daily Reporting to the management and dispatch regarding any delivery issues.
  • In all conditions, the Truck must be tidy and meet the hygiene standard for the next person to operate.
  • Advise management of all accidents, incidents, damage, near misses, and potential hazards
  • Attending any required training modules, site inductions, and/or meetings
  • Follow all traffic laws & regulations in accordance with NZ Transport Agency & NZ Police
  • Serve the company well and faithfully and use your best endeavours to promote its interest and welfare, act in the best interest of the company.
  • Always conduct yourself in a professional manner

What we expect from you: 

  • Must have a Valid NZ or International license equivalent to Class I of NZ Driving License.
  • Must be able to drive a Manual Class I delivery VEHICLE in New Zealand.
  • Must Pass Drug Test
  • Must not have any prior serious driving convictions.
  • Must not have any criminal conviction
  • Must work on the Weekends & Public Holidays
  • Early Morning Starts
  • Floating Shifts
  • Able to lift weights up to 25 KG.
  • Must Physically fit with no medical conditions.
