Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working in an authentic Thai massage business.

A relevant qualification may be accepted as a substitute for the experience, such as a qualification in Traditional Thai Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, or Massage Therapy (at New Zealand Register Diploma level or higher). Overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of a New Zealand qualification.
Job Descriptions
- Assess clients’ physical condition, including muscle strength, joint function, soft tissue condition and range of motion.

Consult with clients to discuss their medical history, pain, injuries, stress levels and treatment goals to determine appropriate therapy.

Develop and recommend suitable massage therapy treatment plans based on clients’ needs and conditions.

Perform therapeutic massage and related bodywork techniques to manipulate soft tissues and muscles to relieve pain, improve circulation, promote relaxation and support wellness.

Apply hand and finger pressure to specific points of the body and use a range of massage techniques to achieve therapeutic outcomes.

Administer treatments using hands and, where appropriate, physical treatment aids and massage equipment.

Prepare and apply massage oils, creams or other therapeutic products to support treatment.

Monitor clients’ responses to treatment and adjust techniques or therapy programs as required.

Provide advice to clients on stretching, relaxation techniques and ongoing wellness maintenance.

Maintain accurate client records, including treatment plans and progress notes.

Refer clients to other health professionals or specialised therapists where appropriate.

Work collaboratively with other health or wellness professionals to support clients’ treatment outcomes.

- This is a full-time, permanent position.

The wage is between $26.50 and $35.00 per hour, depending on your experience and skills, and you will be paid weekly.

Holiday pay and sick leave will be provided in accordance with the law.

You will be working at 184 Symonds Street, Grafton, Auckland.

We are open Monday to Sunday, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.

You will work according to a roster, 5–6 days per week, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours and a maximum of 48 hours per week.
