As part of this role, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards (but not limited to):
· Control LPG filling machinery, pump and associated equipment to ensure cylinders are filled safely and accurately according to specifications.
· Safely fill LPG cylinders according to established standards and procedures.
· Monitor filling processes, adjusting controls as required to maintain proper pressure, flow and volume.
· Collecting customer payments through cash and EFTPOS transactions and issuing receipts accordingly.
· Measure and feed LPG following standard operating procedures.
· Ensure appropriate handling of the gas cylinders and the filling station and maintain compliance with safety protocols.
· Inspect filling equipment, hoses valves and storage tanks to ensure proper operation.
· Identify malfunctions and arrange routine maintenance or repairs to prevent operational downtime.
· Conduct regular readings and sampling of gas or LPG cylinders to verify pressure, weight and safety compliance and place orders for new supplies as required.
· Record and maintain accurate test data and operational logs.
· Maintain detailed records of LPG quantities filled, transferred and delivered.
· Document blending, pumping and other operational procedures for compliance and reporting purposes.
· Authorise isolation procedures for high-pressure equipment when required.
· Follow strict safety protocols for handling flammable gases including emergency shutdown procedures.
· Carry out routine inspection to ensure equipment and processes meet safety standards.
· Prepare reports on equipment performance, operational efficiency and any incidents or anomalies.
· Communicate effectively with the Director regarding safety concerns.
· Perform any other duties as assigned by the company’s Director.
Qualification, Experience and Attributes Required
· 3 years of relevant work Experience.
· A current LPG Fillers Certificate.
· Physically fit with an ability to lift heavy LPG cylinders.
· Understanding of safety procedures and handling of hazardous materials.
· Ability to work on weekends and public holidays.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
