We are seeking for 2  positions of Retail Assistant at VEERKRUPA LIMITED T/A RIVERVIEW DAIRY, WAIROA, New Zealand. Our Retail Assistant should be able to motivate personnel to perform according to their maximum capacity. This is a great  permanent full time work opportunity to lead a dynamic, friendly team where excellence, success, and people are valued and rewarded. 

You would be required to perform the following duties not limited to:

  • Greeting all customers in a friendly and appropriate manner
  • Assisting customers about products queries
  • Maintaining an effective knowledge of general product and product history
  • Receiving and checking orders from suppliers to ensure accuracy
  • Labelling goods and ensuring the correct price is displayed
  • Stocking products on the shelf, storage and merchandising
  • Ensure stock is properly priced and displayed
  • Completing all daily store operations
  • Processing and handling cash with accuracy and diligence
  • Ensure the store sales and inventories all correctly accounted
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the store
  • Perform any other job responsibility as requested by the store manager
  • Follow established policies, procedures, guidelines, and manuals to ensure compliance, safety, and profitability.

The ideal candidate will:

Thia is an entry level position. This does not require qualification or experience and full training will be provided. However an experience of working in Retail Industry would be advantage.
