Job Role: Centre Manager
Location: Christchurch, Canterbury Region
Pay Rate: $30-$35
Are you passionate about cars and experienced in managing a busy automotive service centre? We are looking for a full-time (guaranteed 30 hours) Centre Manager to lead our professional team specialising in car detailing, grooming, window tinting, painting, Ceramic Ro coating, and vinyl wrapping.

About the Role:
As the Centre Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our detailing and enhancement centre, ensuring smooth workflow, quality service delivery, and customer satisfaction. You will manage a skilled team, maintain efficiency, and ensure that every vehicle leaves our centre in immaculate condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across detailing, tinting, wrapping, and painting services
- Provide direction and feedback to team members and assist with recruitment and training of new staff
- Manage, motivate, and develop staff to ensure high performance and a positive team culture
- Deliver excellent customer service by handling client inquiries, quotes, and bookings professionally
- Plan and implement after-sales services to follow up on customer satisfaction, ensure service quality, and identify areas for improvement
- Liaise with suppliers, service agents, and customers to understand and meet expectations regarding detailing standards and turnaround times
- Monitor quality control to ensure all vehicles meet company presentation standards
- Manage stock levels of detailing products and consumables
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and workplace policies
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience of minimum two years or a diploma or higher in Automotive/management/business/relevant industry.
- Experience in the automotive detailing or service industry preferred
- Strong understanding of detailing, tinting, wrapping, paint protection, and ceramic coating processes & knowledge of CeramicPro or similar coating products is an advantage
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused approach with high attention to detail
