Icelandic Holdings NZ Limited is seeking a Financial Administration Officer to join us in Auckland. You will work 40-45 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $29-$36, subject to your skills and experience.
Job descriptions
- Recording and updating financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconciling bank statements, verifying balances, and ensuring accuracy of all financial records.
- Preparing and maintaining financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, budget summaries, and expenditure reports.
- Assist in managing cash flow and monitoring credit lines to support business operations.
- Processing invoices, purchase orders, payments, and bank deposits accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reviewing and verifying financial data, identifying discrepancies or irregularities, and reporting issues to management.
- Assisting with statutory financial reporting requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards at all times.
- Using manual and computerized accounting systems to manage financial information efficiently.
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have a diploma or higher qualification in Accountancy or a closely related major
- Being familiar with food industry is strongly preferred
- Be able to work during the weekend if required
- Excellent communication skills. Attention to details and strong work ethics
- No criminal record, hardworking, reliable and motivated
