Company is looking for a General manager who will be mainly responsible for the smooth run of operations and management for new vape stores located in Auckland. We will offer a minumum hourly rate of $24 per hour up to $24.50 per hour with a minumum guaranteed 30 workinig hours per week. 

Manager Job duties will include the below tasks but are not limited to: 
    • Developing store strategies to raise customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability 
    • Responsible for ensuring high levels of customer’s satisfaction through excellent service. 
    • Deal with the suppliers to ensure best quality and price 
    • Keep records of sales and other financial transactions 
    • Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency 
    • Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control 
    • Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales 
    • Analysing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning 
    • Using information technology to record sales figures, analyse data and forward plan 
    • Dealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and 
      performance reviews 
    • Providing feedback to the store staff 
    • Providing or organising training and development 
    • Determine the service standards and ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met all the time 
    • Resolving legal and security issues 
    • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; 
      analysing variances; initiating corrective actions. 
    • Organising special promotions, displays and solely responsible for price setting of all the 
      products keeping in view the overall profitability of the business 
    • Formulates pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional 
      needed sales promotion; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends. 
    • Updating colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues 
    • Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming 
      customer initiatives and monitoring what competitors are doing 
    • Initiating changes to improve the business, e.g. revising opening hours to ensure the store can 
      compete effectively in the local market 
    • Responding to customer complaints and comments 
Other required Knowledge, Skills abilities 
    • Masters Degree in Business and Management 
    • And hold 10 years relevant experience
    • We open 7 days a week, weekend shifts are also required.
