The Role
We’re looking for a motivated, technically minded Coordinator to join an established and growing engineering team in Christchurch. This office-based role works closely with skilled tradespeople to ensure projects run smoothly while supporting the growth of the Marine and Transport divisions.
This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various projects. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of these projects within the defined timelines and budgets.

Who we’re looking for:
- Trades/mechanical background (Industrial, Marine, or Transport)
- Computer literate and confident with office systems
- Strong communicator and team player with a positive attitude
- Motivated to take on project coordination and support multiple divisions
- Understanding of New Zealand work culture and expectations
- Coordinating projects across Marine, Transport, and Industrial work
- Support senior tradespeople with scheduling, workflow, and job tracking
- Communicating with clients and staff to keep projects on track
- Liaising with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
- Monitor project progress and identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise
- Provide regular project updates and reports to management
- Ensure all projects adhere to relevant health and safety regulations
- Support the broader operations of the business as needed
- Work alongside experienced tradespeople in a supportive team environment
