We require Scaffolders to join the team.

  • This is a permanent role
  • Full time, with minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday with weekend jobs available
  • Competitive remuneration $25.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience

About the Role

You will be based in the Canterbury region focused on work in Christchurch, but may also be required to work in other regions from time to time. This may require the need to travel away from home.

What you will do

The role involves work on residential, commercial, and industrial sites and includes (but is not limited to):

  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding as instructed
  • Stack excess materials for pick up after erecting and/or dismantling a job
  • Attend internal and/or external training sessions when arranged by the company
  • Complete any duties as instructed by the Supervisor as and when required
  • Act at all times in a safe manner and comply with all safety regulations
  • Any other tasks as and when required

About you

  • Minimum 3 Years of relevant and verifiable experience
  • Relevant trade certificate is desired but not required
  • Can work unsupervised or part of a team
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of the operation, including working shift work, and spending nights away from home
  • Ability to complete basic paperwork when needed
  • A dedication to Health & Safety in the workplace and understands and practices the principles of zero harm
  • A proven track record in safety compliance
  • Calm, professional temperament and a good work ethic
  • Ability to pass a workplace medical exam including drug and alcohol testing
  • You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
