Mechanical Fitter/Assembly Technician

About the Role
We’re looking for a Mechanical Fitter or experienced Assembly Technician with relevant experience to join the team responsible for assembling and fitting the hydraulic parts of the jet control system.

In this hands-on role, you will be involved in:

• Mechanical fitting and assembly of hydraulic components
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications
• Work as part of a collaborative team to meet quality standards and deadlines

This is precision work where attention to detail, a high level of workmanship and commitment to safety are essential

About You

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (NZ qualification or equivalent), OR
• Experienced mechanical assembler/technician with strong hands-on hydraulic and mechanical assembly skills
• Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings
• Fitting engineered components into finished products
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills 

Your hourly rate will be reflective of your experience and/or qualification.
