Work Location: Auckland region

Employment type: Full time (minimum 30 hours/per week, Monday to Friday), permanent role

Your pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour depending on your skills

BDD Limited is a construction company based in Auckland.

We are now looking for 1 experienced Plasterer to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will allow access into a reputable and experienced company.

Tasks you may carry out:

·       Study plans, examine and measure the surfaces for plastering, marking, and estimating material required

·       Select and prepare the appropriate plastering materials for different projects and ensure selected materials is available on site

·       Prepare non-plastering surfaces with appropriate tools and materials and prime surfaces for plastering

·       Apply plaster and mesh systems to building surfaces

·       Apply plaster texture finishes as specified to a high standard

·       Groom plastered surfaces to a standard suitable for installing water pipes

·       Mask and seal pipes as required

·       De-masking and final grooming of plastered passages

·       Mix with the right quantity of plaster materials, cement and other materials to external water pipes using trowels to smoothen and level

·       Collaborate with the drain laying team to integrate plastering work seamlessly into drainage projects

·       Other duties may required

To be successful you will need:

• Ideal candidates should have at least 2years’ relevant work experience in the same field or industry, or
• Have a relevant NZ level 4 qualification or equivalent qualifications/certificates
• Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions
• Be physically fit and willingness to work hard

·       Good eye for details and an ability to solve problems practically

·       A "can-do" attitude
