Position Title: Fruit Production Supervisor
Number of Positions: 1
Location: Bay of Plenty
Pay Rate: $28 – $36 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

Key Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience or Level 4 Qualification.

Supervise daily orchard activities including pruning, thinning, and canopy
work.

Monitor vine and plant health, irrigation, and pest/disease conditions.
Allocate tasks and supervise orchard workers and seasonal crews.
Train staff in horticultural techniques and safe work practices.
Plan and lead seasonal orchard programmes and workfl ow.
Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
Oversee safe use and maintenance of orchard tools and equipment.
Maintain accurate orchard activity and productivity records.
Conduct quality checks to protect fruit grade and minimise losses.
Report orchard progress, challenges, and resourcing needs tomanagement.
