Dynamic group Ltd is seeking a motivated and technically capable Electrical Technician to support our growing portfolio of commercial and infrastructure projects across New Zealand.

The successful candidate will assist in the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and control installations. This role requires a practical, safety-focused professional who can work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary mechanical and electrical delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow electrical drawings, plans, schematics, and site instructions.
  • Assist with installation, repair, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Support commissioning activities and perform functional testing of electrical installations.
  • Record and document testing procedures, equipment performance, and site observations.
  • Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to supervisors, engineers, clients, and project teams.
  • Assist in researching and implementing practical solutions to electrical faults and system issues.
  • Identify and outline required materials, tools, and equipment for project delivery.
  • Assist with preparation of cost estimates for electrical equipment and installation works.
  • Inspect and assess the condition of electrical equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and design specifications.
  • Support the design and development of electrical installations and control circuits under the supervision of engineers.
  • Carry out basic fault finding and preventive maintenance on commercial electrical systems.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, documentation, and site safety compliance.
