Mechanical fitter

Dynamic Group Ltd is looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to support installation, maintenance, and testing of HVAC and mechanical services systems on commercial and industrial construction projects.

The role involves working closely with supervisors, engineers, and installation teams to ensure mechanical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Install HVAC ductwork, chilled water piping systems, mechanical equipment, and associated fittings as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all materials and accessories are inspected and approved before installation begins.
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and lifting equipment safely during installation works.
• Assist in preparing installation areas and coordinating with other trades on site.
• Follow installation schedules and support supervisors in completing project milestones on time.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship while complying with company safety policies and site regulations.
• Wear and maintain proper PPE and ensure safe handling of tools and materials.
• Support testing and inspection activities including duct light testing, hydrostatic testing of chilled water pipelines, and mechanical system checks.
• Assist commissioning teams during testing, balancing, and system adjustment activities.
• Help in arranging and handling materials, tools, and safety equipment required for daily site work.
• Report daily progress, site issues, and technical concerns to supervisors or project engineers.
• Work collaboratively with duct fitters, pipe fitters, electricians, and other site personnel.
• Attend toolbox meetings and follow all quality and safety procedures set by the company.
