We are looking for reliable, physically fit and motivated Furniture Movers to join our company. The start and finsh point will be in Auckland however you will be required to work throughout New Zealand. The job requires someone capable of managing a dynamic, high-pressure environment while ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional services. You will be working from Monday to Sunday (as per roster) with minimum of 30 hours and maximum of 45 hours.


Job Responsibilities:

·        Require lifting heavy objects repeatedly

·        Assist in physical task loading and unloading furniture and belongings (residential and commercial) onto the truck

·        Responsible to move furniture and items from one location to another, safely and without damaging it.

·        Assist in wrapping the furniture in protective material and use caution while loading, unloading and driving it.

·        Safely transport items to designated locations

·        Require maintaining an inventory that tracks all the items that you are moving for a customer. It’s essential that this is as accurate as possible as doing so will ensure that we don’t misplace or forget anything during our move.

·         Ensure timely and efficient completion of moving assignments.

·        Maintain company vehicles and moving equipment in good condition.

·        Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate logistics.

 

Job Requirements:

•           Should have at least 1 year of Work experience in similar role or relevant industry

•           Valid Class 2 driver’s licence or an equivalent international driving licence

•           Must be able to drive manual and automatic transmission

•           Physically fit and able to lift heavy items safely.

•           Strong time management and organizational skills.

•           Team player with the ability to work independently when required.

•            Reliable, punctual, and professional in client interactions.

•           Maintain a clean and organised work environment

•           Follow safety protocols and comply with company policies.

•           Zero Tolerance of alcohol and drugs in the workplace

•           Clean Character Background

 

Salary can be negotiated as per your proven experience level; it will range from $28 to $34 per hour.
