We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy Subway store. This is a full-time permanent position requiring strong leadership, operational management, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing overall store operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
  • Monitoring sales performance and implementing strategies to meet revenue targets
  • Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and controlling inventory
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, health and safety, and company standards
  • Recruiting, training, supervising, and rostering staff
  • Maintaining high levels of customer service and resolving customer complaints
  • Managing budgets, expenses, and financial reporting
  • Developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies
  • Ensuring store presentation, cleanliness, and visual merchandising standards are met
  • Liaising with suppliers and head office to ensure smooth business operations

Skills and Experience Required

  • Relevant experience for 2 years
    OR
  • A relevant qualification (Level 4 or above) 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound understanding of budgeting, rostering, and inventory control

  • Must be available to work weekends and public holidays as required
  • Physically fit and able to be on your feet for extended periods
