Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store and ensure smooth running of all activities
  • Work alongside staff on the shop floor while supervising and supporting team members
  • Assist with staff rostering, training, and performance monitoring
  • Ensure shelves are well stocked and products are displayed appropriately
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate ordering of goods
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally
  • Support pricing, promotions, and merchandising decisions
  • Assist in monitoring store performance, sales, and wastage control
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant store environment
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
  • Maintain records of stock levels and financial transactions
  • Report on store performance and assist in improving operational efficiency

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant retail or supermarket experience, OR
  • A relevant qualification (Level 4 or above)
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Some leadership or supervisory experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and able to work weekends and public holidays
