Experienced Bus Drivers

Our client is looking for skilled and licensed Bus Drivers

• Established company

• Permanent role.

• Working in the Auckland Region

• Guaranteed 30+ hours per week

• Work will include weekdays and weekends

• $32.12 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a transit bus on scheduled routes in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.

• Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops.

• Assist passengers with special needs, including elderly or disabled individuals.

• Monitor fare collection, ensure correct fare payment, and issue transfers when applicable.

• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, especially in the case of delays, accidents, or emergencies.

• Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle interior.

• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the maintenance team promptly.

• Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.

• Complete daily vehicle inspection checklists and required logs.

Requirements:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger (P) endorsement.

• Clean driving record.

• 2+ years previous experience driving large buses. Auckland routes preferred

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or emergency situations.

• Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Meet English requirement for visa application (if applicable)
