Seeking 3 Carpenters in Auckland to work for business permanently.


A desirable candidate should be:
Have 2 years relevant work experience.
Positive, punctual, honest, good at teamwork.

The minimum rate of pay is $30/hour-$33/hour, the minimum hour of work is 30 hours per week, 5 days a week.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Constructs, erects, installs, renovates and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, wallboard and other materials
  • Determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
  • Selecting timbers and materials, and preparing layouts
  • Subfloor framing, timber post set up
  • Cutting materials, and assembling and nailing cut and shaped parts
  • Erecting framework, laying sub-flooring and floorboards and verifying trueness of structures
  • Nailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames
  • Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install cutting wood joints
  • May work with plastic laminates, perspex and metals
