We're seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth, forge partnerships, and expand our impact in Wellington. This is a full-time permanent position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with our mission.

  • Build and nurture relationships with supporters, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Develop strategies to inspire long-term public engagement for key causes.

  • Collaborate with team leaders to achieve growth targets.

  • Track performance metrics and report on business development outcomes

  • Manage forecasting and contribute to the Sales & Operations Planning process
  • Present compelling business proposals
  • Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Determine the target markets for the organization's products or servicesĀ 
  • Create new sales ideas, such as sales strategies, sales pitches, and business plansĀ 

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnership management (2+ years preferred) OR a bachelor's degree in relevant field

  • Passion for social causes and strong relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent communication and networking abilities.

  • Proactive mindset with a team-oriented approach.

  • Confidence in value-based /consultative selling
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a love for clean, accurate data.
