T.H. Fresh Market is a growing retail business in Auckland, committed to providing high-quality fresh produce and grocery items with excellent customer service. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to oversee daily operations and lead our team.

Position Summary

The Store Manager will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the store, ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, and staff performance in line with business goals.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Managing and supervising all store operations, ensuring efficient and effective performance
  • Determining product mix, stock levels, and service standards to meet customer demand
  • Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting pricing strategies
  • Promoting and advertising the store’s goods and services
  • Maintaining records of stock levels, financial transactions, and operational activities
  • Managing budgets, controlling costs, and preparing financial reports
  • Selecting, training, supervising, and performance-managing staff
  • Ensuring high levels of customer service and resolving customer complaints
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Liaising with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Monitoring store presentation, merchandising, and overall visual standards
  • Planning and implementing sales strategies to maximise store profitability

Skills and Experience Required

  • 2 years of relevant experience 
    OR a relevant Level 4 qualification or higher 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Sound understanding of retail operations, budgeting, and stock control
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet business targets

Pay Rate 

$32.00 – $36.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills

Additional Information

  • Minimum guaranteed hours: 30 hours per week
  • Work may include weekends and public holiday
