Zstar Education (trading as Classcipe) is a New Zealand based Innovative Education Organisation that brings the interactive learning tools and instructional resources into one platform. 

Classcipe provides efficient tools to educators for them to plan their lessons/units across grades and subjects, assess their learners' performance, and access the global educational resources within a click of a button.

 

 

Main duties of this role:

• Determining, implementing, monitoring, reviewing and evaluating budgetary and accounting strategies, policies and plans in consultation with other Managers

• Assessing capital finance proposals and the financial status of operational projects

• Advising on investment strategies, sources of funds and the distribution of earnings

• Delivering long range profit forecasts, budgeting and financial reporting

• Providing financial information and interpreting the implications for business performance and funding needs

• Coordinating the development, implementation and monitoring of accounting systems

• Directing the preparation of financial reports to summarise and forecast financial position such as income statements, balance sheets and analyses of future earnings and income

• Ensuring compliance with all financial legislation regulation and standards

Pay rate:

Minimum $40.00 / hour - Maximum $49.00 / hour

Guaranteed hours of work per week: Minimum 30 hours

 

Requirements for the job:

• Hold a bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• Be available for full-time employment, we do not offer WFH.  

• Highly detail-oriented, commercially astute, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Have no criminal record.
