Delivery Drivers Wanted!

We are delivery service company based in Auckland. We pride ourselves in providing an excellent work environment for our team and nothing but the best service for our customers. To enhance our team, we are looking for 3 reliable and energetic Delivery Drivers to join our Auckland team immediately. If you enjoy being on the road and delivering great service, we want to hear from you.

 

Key responsibilities and tasks:

Plan the appropriate delivery routes in the distribution centre depending on the deliveries.

Following instructions to deliver or pick up materials, goods, and equipment on a regular base

Following routes and time schedule

Operating vehicles into position for loading and unloading

Using lifting and tipping devices to load and unload vehicles

Complying with safety requirements when driving, parking, loading, and unloading vehicles

Conducting regular routine checks of vehicles to ensure the driven and on road safety

Ensuring the loaded materials, goods and equipment are safely stored and covered, and protected from damage or loss

Carefully verifying loading documents, check the loading condition and obtain supporting documentation for delivery

Follow all health and safety standards while loading and unloading the courier vehicle. In case of emergency follow all procedures as provided by the company

Follow all health, safety and road hazard procedures at all times

The successful candidate must have:

·       Minimum 1 year relevant working experience, or

·       Relevant NZ register level 2 or 3 qualification, or equivalen

·       Valid class 2 driver license

·       Physical fitness and good work ethic

·       No criminal or driving convictions

A valid forklift license would be preferred but not required

We offer a competitive salary of $25.00 - $38.00 per hour depending on your personal skills and experiences.

Type of employment: Permanent and full time

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week would be guaranteed. Maximum hours would be 50 hours per week during busy workload, working from Monday to Friday and occational Weekend included depend on workload from 5am to 3pm.
