Panel Beater

Description

Tubby’s Tyres is looking for a full-time (40 hours per week) Panel Beater to add to their friendly team.

The hourly pay rate ranges between $30 and $35 per hour (paid weekly), depending on your skills and experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and replacing damaged body panels and structural components of cars and other vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

•        Remove and replace parts to access repairs or allow for painting

•        Align and reshape damaged panels and frames

•        Replace sections of vehicles and weld in replacements following manufacturers’ instructions

•        Repair rust and other structural damage

•        Sand and prepare panels and parts for spray painting

•        Spray paint panels and vehicle parts

Requirements

•        At least 2 years of experience as a Panel Beater, or a relevant panel beating certificate, or another relevant automotive or mechanical qualification.

•        Must be legally allowed to work in New Zealand

•        Willingness to undergo random drug testing if required

•        A criminal history check may be conducted if necessary
