We are looking for a full time and permanent Driver to work in Levin. This role involves delivering heavy home appliances from our warehouse to customers’ homes. We are looking for someone who is genuinely committed to our organisation and is prepare do undertake associated responsibilities of the role.

Hours of work: Tuesday to Sunday from 5 AM to 3 PM

Wage Rate: $29 to $35 per hour

Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours to Maximum 50 hours

Job Responsibilities

 

·        Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.

·        Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.

·        Maintain a current clean Driver's License while driving a company vehicle.

·        Report serious mechanical problems to the manager.

·        Deliver home appliances such as fridges, washing machines and ovens

·        Load and unload goods, including heavy lifting

·        Ensure products are delivered in good condition

·        Provide excellent customer service at delivery points

·        Assist with basic placement of appliances in customers’ homes

·        Complete delivery documentation accurately

·        Responsible for cleaning of your Vehicle

·        Knowledge of emergency procedures and how to handle hazard conditions.

 

Job Requirements:

·        Should have valid and clean Class 1 driver license or equivalent International Driving License

·        Should have available for weekends and Public Holidays

·        Customer comes first approach

·        Good communication skills

·        Good Fitness Level

·        Accountability for Health and Safety

·        Clean Character Background
