We are currently looking for a skilled Mobile Phone Technician to join our team in the Wellington region. You are required to work with minimum 30hrs to maximum 40hrs from Monday to Friday as per roster. You may be required to work on Weekends depending on workload.
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mobile phones, including screen replacements, battery replacements, charging issues, and software troubleshooting
- Provide accurate assessments and repair time estimates to customers
- Maintain high-quality repair standards and ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist customers with technical queries and provide product advice when needed
- Support retail staff with technical knowledge and troubleshooting
- Maintain repair tools, equipment and a clean workspace
- Assist with stock control of parts and accessories
- Follow all company health and safety procedures
Key Requirements:
- You should have minimum of 2 years of technical work experience or level 5 or higher qualification (Subject area flexible)
- Strong knowledge of smartphone hardware and software (iOS and Android)
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, honest and responsible
- Clean criminal record
- A Zero tolerance for drugs at the workplace
Salary can be negotiated as per your proven experience level, it will range from $29 -$35 per hour.
