Painter

Key Responsibilities

Prepare interior and exterior surfaces, including sanding, scraping, filling, patching, and priming

Perform plastering tasks such as skim coating, joint filling, minor repairs, and surface levelling

Operate hand and power tools including orbital/round sanding machines

Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brush, roller, and spray methods

Carry out decorative or specialty finishes (e.g., marble-effect or textured finishes) where applicable Maintain clean, tidy, and safe work sites

Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Strong skills in surface preparation, sanding, and finishing

Ability to use brushes, rollers, spray guns, and sanding machines

Experience in plastering/ skim coating preferred

Experience with decorative/ specialty finishes (advantage but not essential)

Ability to follow instructions and deliver high-quality workmanship

Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for on-site tasks

Additional Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

Ability to communicate in Chinese is an advantage, as several team members and clients use Chinese on site Experience with artistic or decorative painting (e.g., marble effect, special textures)
