Job Position : General Manager

We are seeking an experienced and capable General Manager to oversee and lead our packaging operations across the region. This role is responsible for the overall performance, strategic direction, and day-to-day management of the business within the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organising, directing, and reviewing the day-to-day operations of the business within the region
  • Leading regional operations through departmental managers and subordinate executives
  • Ensuring regional activities align with organisational objectives, policies, and performance standards
  • Developing and implementing regional operational plans, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Translating organisational strategy into clear regional and departmental objectives
  • Overseeing financial performance, including budget control and effective resource utilisation
  • Reviewing operational, financial, and compliance reports and implementing corrective actions where required
  • Ensuring the efficient use of human, financial, and physical resources
  • Maintaining compliance with all legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements
  • Promoting a performance-driven and accountable management culture
  • Reporting on regional performance to senior leadership and representing the organisation on regional operational matters

About You

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience or a relevant qualification equivalent to level 4 or above
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple functions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to drive performance, implement strategy, and lead high-performing teams

Please note this is a full time position with a guaranteed hours of at least 30 hours per week.
