The company requires Site Managers and Fruit Production Supervisors to oversee day‑to‑day site operations, coordinate staff and contractors, and ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met.
Position Title: Site Manager
Number of Positions: 2
Location: Bay of Plenty Region
Pay Rate: $32 – $36 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week
Key Requirements
- 2 years of experience OR level 4 qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across assigned horticulture sites.
- Coordinate orchard staff, contractors, and work schedules.
- Ensure tasks are completed on time and to required standards.
- Monitor site performance, productivity, and quality outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and company policies.
- Conduct site inspections and address operational issues promptly.
- Maintain site records, reports, and activity logs.
- Liaise with management regarding progress, staffing, and resource needs.
- Support planning and execution of seasonal orchard programmes.
- Ensure equipment, tools, and materials are used safely and efficiently.
Position Title: Fruit Production Supervisor

Pay Rate: $28 – $34 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week
Key Requirements
- 2 years of experience OR level 4 qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily orchard and fruit production activities.
- Monitor plant health, irrigation, pest, and disease conditions.
- Allocate tasks to orchard workers and seasonal staff.
- Lead seasonal programmes including pruning, thinning, and canopy management.
- Train staff in safe horticultural practices and orchard techniques.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements.
- Oversee safe use of orchard tools and equipment.
- Maintain production records and orchard activity logs.
- Conduct quality checks to protect crop yield and standards.
- Report progress and issues to management.
