Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established Auckland­-based Building and house construction company and become a part of a great team. We are recruiting 2 full-time carpenters to join our team. 


This is a full-time position. You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week with the following tasks: 

  • Interpreting and following blueprints, technical drawings, building codes, and specifications to carry out carpentry work.
  • Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other construction materials to build frameworks, fittings, and structures.
  • Preparing layouts, marking, and setting out construction elements using levels, plumb bobs, and other hand and electronic tools.
  • Performing calculations and construction layout tasks to ensure precision in building and fitting operations.
  • Inspecting completed structures and components to ensure compliance with building codes, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Estimating and selecting required materials, tools, and timbers based on drawings and site conditions.
  • Modifying and adjusting carpentry work on-site as necessary to meet specifications or respond to site conditions.
  • Performing maintenance, repair, or replacement of wooden structures, fittings, and fixtures as required.
  • Any other relevant carpentry duties assigned by the employer.

You are required to have:

•    Minimum one year of work experience in the construction industry,
•    or, a relevant NZQCF Level 4 qualification or above. No specific major is required if you have a bachelor's qualification or above.
•    Physically fit and capable of taking heavy duties
•    Clean criminal record
